I spent a few minutes updating the Line Spectra Myspace page today. I never really got round to making a full go of Myspace; it always seemed such an awful place to be. Still, I can’t deny that flicking over to an artist’s page is the quickest way to get to hear their material. Perhaps it’s an aesthetic thing that irks me; the whole experience is very unpolished (I suppose a supporter of it would call it “rough and ready”). Having to actually deal with the whole backend of Myspace is just as much of a irritation; often it’s so broken as to be unusable. Hence I always left it “for another day”, but that day never came.
I’d genuinely be interested to hear from people who find Myspace useful beyond clicking on that play button in the top-right corner.
